🔴 Squaring off basically used by share marketers in Intra day trading. Mean traders buy some quantity of shares and sell them before the market closes.
🔴 Squaring off means simply the practices to close the all open positions before the end of the trading hours.
Example :
Suppose Vijay buys 100 shares of SBI from the NSE for Rs 240 per share after market start and sell all the shares for Rs 250 per share before market close.
Therefore, the Vijay has basically squared off his position.
